ELIJAH + KIERSTEN | 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

It’s been 1 year since my cousin, Eli, married the most beautiful woman, Kiersten, and I could not be more nostalgic. I remember balling my eyes out, looking both ways to make sure no one noticed my nose running. I have photographed about 150 weddings yet never experienced those wedding feels you get when you watch your own blood get married. I saw life flash before my eyes- Eli and I running around my basement at 5 years old, saying we’d marry each other until my mom explained to me that wasn’t going to happen (HAHA!) to making home videos with his siblings and mine in the warm, New York summers, to the present time when he was facing his soon-to-be wife. After meeting Kiersten, I knew why Eli was (and is) in love with her. Not only is she stunning, but her heart is so kind. She’s one of those people that you meet and instantly want to befriend. All these thoughts collided together during their wedding and made me the emotional wreak I was.

Here’s to a year!! HAPPY FREAKING ONE YEAR ELI + KIERSTEN! I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for you both! xoxo
