MAIN STREET BALLROOM WEDDING, ELLICOTT CITY, MD

BERNARD + JASSMIRE PT. I

Thanks to COVID-19, these two celebrated their marriage 4 different times:

1. When they signed their marriage certificate.
2. Their traditional Ghanaian wedding.
3. Their Main Street Ballroom venue wedding.
4. Their day-after session (click here to view)!

Bernard and Jassmire have been dear friends for the past few years. We met at a church group Bernard led, and I remember Jass was the first friend I made. It’s funny because I had separate relationships with both of them and when they *finally* told me they were dating, I was like, “Yep, this makes all the sense in the world.” Individually, I have admired and been encouraged by them for years and now that they’ve decided to take life on together, I can only imagine the affect they’ll have on everyone going forward.

B + J chose to hire mostly friends as their vendors- me being one! It meant the world to me. Not only because I would have had “photography-FOMO” if they went with another photographer, but also because working at a wedding alongside your friends is one of the most fun experiences you can have. Just think about all that love.

COVID-19 ruined many couples’ wedding plans but as with anything, you make the most of it which is exactly what these two did.

Thanks to all the vendors and friends!
