Two beautiful souls; two best friends.
It’s hard to write about two people you love so much- both separately and as a pair. I’ve known Matthew and Laura since high school when they became the gorgeous “class couple.” I wasn’t as close with Laura when they began their romance, but I was best friends with her when they ended it. It’s funny how many brides and grooms reach out to me with the story, “I knew he/she was meant for me, but it took time for him/her to realize it.” I’ve always believed that when two people are truly destined for each other, their paths will align again at some point. In short, that’s how it started for them, but that summary could never encompass the immense respect, love, and care they have for each other today. It was an honor to be both a bridesmaid and the photographer at their wedding. I had no clue Laura would ask me to be both. I imagined being the photographer, but to receive my first “Bridesmaid Proposal,” I screamed. Seriously, click here to see my reaction. Lemme tell you though… being a bridesmaid and photographer while wearing 5” heels because #ShortGirlProbz is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. But for you, Laura, I’d do it again!
