If feathery pjs, white gloves, and fireplaces lined with flowers + greenery are your vibe, you’re in the right place. I couldn’t believe it when Liz contacted me about photographing her + Brendan’s wedding; she and I had been long-time Instagram friends, gawking over each other’s lives but never realizing one day they would intersect. It felt both unreal and beyond flattering to have her reach out after supporting my photography business for years- not to mention we are both named Liz, come from Italian families, and have incredibly bubbly personalities. Most of our emails cracked me up as I felt I was talking to myself half the time.

When their day finally came around, the springtime rain decided to join us and fog hung beautifully on the mountainside. Early Mountain Vineyards is a venue with a stunning interior- brick fireplaces, floor-to-ceiling windows, so the day continued as magical as planned. They even ended the night with Italian cookies from Brooklyn, NY and apple cider doughnuts from Charlottesville’s amazing Carpe Donut truck!
